I started my business after completing an early childhood elective class at TC Williams High School. #ProudTitan

What inspires you?

I'm inspired by the opportunity to see others grow and reach their full potential.

What motivates you?

I am motivated by growth! The goal is to grow and get better each day. Plus, I want to make my family and those who've supported me proud.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my team who gives 100% to our program, children, and families each and every day!

Tell us something that folks wouldn't know about you?

Most people wouldn't know that I'm a hometown girl and proud product of Alexandria City Public Schools.

Tell us about a time you overcame a challenge?

Opening a business is a challenge and for me, learning how to be a strong leader took time. As a first generation college student and first generation business owner, understanding how important it was to develop a strong team and company culture was my biggest challenge as I opened my business. My advice to others is to develop a team of leaders who dream big and want the best for you and your business.

How do you overcome adversity?

If you want to start your own business, make a plan and use the resources in the City including the Alexandria SBDC.
